The North Georgia drought has slowed slightly in the last few days with some rain, but the drought just keeps getting worse:

• Sonny Purdue declared a state of emergency in 85 counties
  
• Lake Lanier and Lake Allatoona are still falling a foot per week
• We've over 4 million people in North Georgia alone, let alone Atlanta plus other states
• Georgia is fighting with Corps of Engineers and with Alabama and Florida
• We have about 90 days of water left
